Say it isn't so! There is nobody else doing what you do, Star. I wrote the following blog-plug a few months back for the newsletter I contribute to... unfortunately, the focus changed so I never sent it. But it's true!
Ever wish that health stories weren´t so boring? Here´s a blog that takes the yawn out of medical reporting. Full-time health and science writer Star Lawrence separates the fads from the feds. Go to WebMD or NIH if you like a lecture, but if you prefer your health stories to have a liberal dose of sass, read Star. She's a hoot. And you know what they say about laughter.

Aw, Nancy--this is so nice. At least you never posted wrong info. I have done 1000 posts, 3+ yrs, and don't think it's worth the $1 a day I am paying for pix...I have to be realistic. I decided it was basically an ego exercise--who can afford those. If it helped some people, someplace, I am glad. Nuts to all this! When can we be happy again, I wonder. If ever.
I read this site a lot. Discouragement is discouraged! I'm sure others read here as well.
