We can still afford a banana, right?
You almost can’t afford NOT to eat them. Powerhouse food—big yummy!
Bananas give you sustained energy—they contain three sugar types and fiber.
Bananas contain tryptophan—eat one, feel happier. The body converts tryptophan into serotonin—the feel-good stuff.
Bananas also help if you’re anemic.
They reduce high BP.
They make your innards run smoother, if you catch my drift.
They make you smarter.
They can cure hangovers.
Rub the skin on a mosquito bite to stop the itching.
Bananas can even help you give up smoking—they contain potassium and magnesium to help counter nicotine.
They cut stress and if eaten regularly, can cut strokes by 40%.
You can even polish your shoes with the inside of a banana skin—wipe to a shine with a dry cloth.
Would an apple do that for ya?
And falling on a banana peel is really, really funny--we can all use a laugh.
